In a few hours the sun will become up....some words used in the past when the result of a Wildcat football game was not what we had hoped.
But on the ground of the Port of Cleveland Parking lot the renewal of Wildcat fellowship and Tailcat spirit occurred. In what I believe is the biggest TAILCAT that ever occurred...football and fellowship was back.
I want to thank all the people that helped me connect the dots in this TAILCAT. I want to thank Cheri Ramos for the countless hours she devoted to the Tailcat activities as well as the other captains’ moms, Jane Grebenc and Robin Strippy. Everyone assisted in the start of this season and next Friday night can’t come quick enough.
At the Tailcat was the entire Tailcat history with original TAILCAT families from 2003 and through all those who have come to make the TAILCAT an part of Wildcat Football and important part of Ignatius Saturdays.
It is hard to believe that was started as a simple idea to gather together outside before a game - has been part of Ignatius football and allowed so many to enjoy the day. So...while the game may have not been what we hoped for (and all respects to a good opponent) ...Friday is only 6 days away....and so it begins....but another great memory.
Go Cats!
