It may not have felt like it Saturday night but it has been confirmed that we witnessed an historic St Ignatius football game - according to Eddie Dwyer, no Wildcat football team had ever made up a 20-point deficit and gone on to victory. No mention as to whether any prior Wildcat football team had snoozed for the better part of 2 quarters and lived to tell about it! So the proverbial bullet was dodged - now let's take care of business this week!
OK - on to more important stuff. Axel Hoyer is just KILLING me about not including pictures in my TailCat recaps. Through various back channels as well as a relentless, direct frontal approach. A slideshow on the the blog site is apparently not adequate. So here ya go, Ax - I held back one pic from last week; an "after" shot once his multiple grease fires were put out. I told you he wouldn't make it this week. See above...
