Whether alumni, parents, students or friends, we have all come to love Wildcat Football! So, when we are not in the stadium cheering on our team, we can meet here to discuss the game and plan the fun.

Housekeeping

The following is another Public Service Announcement from your TailCat team:

1) We've accumulated a number of bowls, plates, utensils, etc that were abandoned by fans apparently in too much of a panic to catch kickoff. (I know because this past week they left them all on my table, which was under my canopy - both of which I decided to abandon 'cuz I was in too much of a panic to catch kickoff) We'll have a Lost N Found at the name tag table from now on.
2) Remember to bring plates, cups, plastic ware, etc.

3) We were dangerously close to not having sufficient table space last week! No self-respecting tailgater comes up short on table space...

4) This week vs Canisius is Parent's Night. As you are probably already aware, parents have to assemble in the stadium by 6:15. This is good news - it means the entire gameday schedule will have to be moved up; as a result, Myers should have a satellite link established just in time for the 11 AM College GameDay coverage.

5) The St Xavier Fish Fry: some of you may not be aware that the St Ignatius and St Xavier parents have traditionally hosted one another on the day of the game. The St X faithful have always been in awe of our OUTDOOR fish fry held right at the stadium. (Our wimpy southern cousins have usually provided finger food INDOORS down at St X. Insert frownie face here. Last year they were shamed into holding an outdoor event - with that God-awful chili). So we will be coordinating our efforts in the coming weeks in preparation for another fish fry to be held at JCU - the site of this year's game. Note that this is NOT a school-sponsored or organized undertaking - it's an all-volunteer effort, paid for by us TailCatters. More to come...
